Itinerary
Day 1: Casablanca → Rabat
Pick-up at Casablanca airport or hotel.
Visit Hassan II Mosque.
Continue to Rabat: Oudaya Kasbah, Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V.
Overnight in Rabat.
Day 2: Rabat → Chefchaouen
Drive through the Rif Mountains.
Arrive in Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl.”
Free time to explore the medina and central square.
Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes
Visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis (UNESCO).
Stop in Meknes: Bab Mansour Gate & El Hedim Square.
Continue to Fes.
Overnight in Fes.
Day 4: Full Day in Fes
Guided tour of Fes medina: Al Quaraouiyine University, tanneries, artisan quarters, and madrasas.
Overnight in Fes.
Day 5: Fes → Ifrane → Azrou → Midelt → Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
Stop in Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco.”
Visit the cedar forest of Azrou to see Barbary macaques.
Drive via Ziz Valley to Merzouga.
Sunset camel trek into Sahara dunes.
Dinner, music, and stargazing at desert camp.
Overnight in luxury desert camp.
Day 6: Merzouga → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley
Sunrise over the dunes.
Visit Rissani market & Erfoud fossils.
Explore Todra Gorge’s dramatic cliffs.
Continue to Dades Valley.
Overnight in Dades Valley.
Day 7: Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech
Drive via Rose Valley and Skoura oasis.
Visit Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.”
Explore Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (UNESCO site).
Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
Arrive in Marrakech by evening.

Day 8: Marrakech → Departure
