This 8-day tour is curated to let you experience the essence of Morocco in comfort and style. Starting from Marrakech, you’ll cross the High Atlas mountains, step into film-set scenes at Aït Ben Haddou, wander through rose valleys and dramatic gorges, ride camels in Merzouga’s Sahara, explore the blue city-streets of Chefchaouen, and conclude along the Atlantic coast in Tangier. Each stop offers culture, natural beauty, and unforgettable views.

Start: Marrakech • End: Tangier (or return to Marrakech upon request)
Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech → High Atlas → Aït Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate (≈4 hrs drive)
  • Pick-up from your riad or hotel in Marrakech.
  • Drive over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass through the High Atlas with scenic panoramic stops.
  • Visit Telouet Kasbah, then the UNESCO World Heritage site of Aït Ben Haddou.
  • Continue to Ouarzazate.
    Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Day 2: Ouarzazate → Skoura Palm Groves → Amridil Kasbah → Rose Valley → Dades Valley (≈3 hrs drive)
  • Breakfast in Ouarzazate. Explore Atlas Studios or Kasbah Taourirt.
  • Visit Amridil Kasbah in Skoura, then through the Rose Valley (Kalaat M’Gouna).
  • Marvel at “Monkey Fingers” rock formations in Dades.
    Overnight in Boumalne Dades.

Day 3: Dades Valley → Todra Gorges → Erfoud → Merzouga Sahara (≈5 hrs drive)
  • Morning in Dades. Travel to Todra Gorge, walk in the canyon.
  • Drive past Erfoud to reach Merzouga. Switch to camel at sunset to reach the luxury desert camp. Dinner under stars.
    Overnight in desert camp

Day 4: Merzouga Region Exploration
  • Sunrise over the sand dunes. Breakfast in camp.
  • Spend the day exploring Merzouga’s wild lake, nomad villages, fossil workshops, palm groves, and Khamlia music.
    Overnight in Merzouga.

Day 5: Merzouga → Erfoud → Midelt → Ifrane → Fes (≈7 hrs drive with stops)
  • Depart desert into the Ziz Valley. Visit Erfoud and a fossil workshop.
  • Lunch in Midelt. Continue through cedar forests near Azrou. Arrive in Fes in the evening.
    Overnight in Fes.

Day 6: Full Day in Fes
  • Guided immersive walking tour: Royal Palace Gate, The Mellah, Borj Sud, Al-Attarine Madrasa, Al-Quaraouiyine University, Chouara Tanneries.
    Overnight in Fes.

Day 7: Fes → Meknes → Volubilis Ruins → Chefchaouen (≈4 hrs drive)
  • Depart Fes to Meknes: Bab Mansour Gate, Royal Stables, etc.
  • Visit the Roman ruins at Volubilis.
  • Continue through hills to Chefchaouen, the Blue City. Evening in Chefchaouen.
    Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 8: Chefchaouen → Tangier (≈2 hrs drive) & Departure
  • Free morning in Chefchaouen for shopping or relaxing.
  • Drive north to Tangier.
  • Drop-off at your hotel, port, or airport depending on your travel plan.
    End of tour.
