Itinerary
Day 1: Casablanca → Rabat
Pick-up at Casablanca airport or hotel.
Visit Hassan II Mosque, one of the world’s largest.
Continue to Rabat: Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Oudaya Kasbah.
Overnight in Rabat.
Day 2: Rabat → Chefchaouen
Scenic drive through the Rif Mountains.
Arrive in Chefchaouen, the iconic “Blue Pearl.”
Free time to explore its medina, blue alleys, and main square.
Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes
Visit ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis (UNESCO site).
Stop in Meknes to see Bab Mansour Gate and El Hedim Square.
Arrive in Fes in the evening.
Overnight in Fes.
Day 4: Full Day in Fes
Guided tour of the medieval medina: Al Quaraouiyine University, tanneries, artisan souks, madrasas.
Overnight in Fes.
Day 5: Fes → Ifrane → Azrou → Midelt → Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
Stop in Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco.”
Visit the cedar forest of Azrou to see Barbary macaques.
Scenic drive through Ziz Valley.
Sunset camel trek into Merzouga dunes.
Dinner, Berber music, and stargazing at luxury desert camp.
Overnight in desert camp.
Day 6: Merzouga → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley
Sunrise in the Sahara, return by camel or 4x4.
Visit Rissani’s traditional market and Erfoud fossil workshops.
Explore Todra Gorge with its towering cliffs.
Continue to Dades Valley with its rock formations.
Overnight in Dades Valley.
Day 7: Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech
Drive through Rose Valley and Skoura palm groves.
Stop in Ouarzazate, “Hollywood of Morocco.”
Visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (UNESCO site).
Cross the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
Arrive in Marrakech by evening.
