Itinerary
Day 1: Tangier → Chefchaouen (~2 hrs drive)
Pick-up from your hotel, port, or airport in Tangier.
Visit Cape Spartel and the Cave of Hercules.
Scenic drive through Tetouan and Rif Mountains.
Arrival in Chefchaouen and check-in at your riad.
Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 2: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes (~4 hrs drive)
Morning exploring Chefchaouen’s blue medina.
Drive to Volubilis to visit the Roman ruins (UNESCO).
Continue to Meknes: Bab Mansour, Sahrij Souani, Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
Arrival in Fes.
Overnight in Fes.
Day 3: Full Day in Fes
Guided walking tour of Fes medina: Al-Quaraouiyine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, tanneries.
Panoramic view from Borj Sud.
Overnight in Fes.
Day 4: Fes → Ifrane → Azrou → Midelt → Merzouga (~7 hrs drive)
Depart Fes via Ifrane (“Switzerland of Morocco”).
Visit cedar forests near Azrou.
Lunch in Midelt; drive through Ziz Valley.
Arrive in Merzouga for sunset camel trek into the dunes.
Overnight in Merzouga Desert Camp.
Day 5: Merzouga → Rissani → Erfoud → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley (~5–6 hrs drive)
Sunrise camel ride in the desert.
Visit Rissani market & Erfoud fossil workshops.
Explore Todra Gorge & Dades Valley viewpoints.
Overnight in Dades Valley.
Day 6: Dades Valley → Rose Valley → Ouarzazate → Aït Ben Haddou → High Atlas → Marrakech (~6–7 hrs drive)
Morning drive through Rose Valley and Skoura palm groves.
Visit Ouarzazate and Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou (UNESCO).
Cross Tizi n’Tichka Pass, High Atlas Mountains.
Arrival in Marrakech by late afternoon, drop-off.
End of tour.
