This 5-day private tour is a perfect escape blending Morocco’s dramatic landscapes with its rich history. Start in Marrakech, cross the High Atlas Mountains, visit iconic kasbahs like Aït Ben Haddou and Amridil, traverse Rose and Dades Valleys, ride camels into the golden dunes of Merzouga, and end in Fes via the Atlas cedar forests. Each night brings a new view, each day a new discovery.

Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech → High Atlas → Aït Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate
Pick-up early from your riad or hotel.
Cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass with scenic mountain views.
Visit Telouet Kasbah along the route.
Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah.
Proceed to Ouarzazate (“Hollywood of Morocco”).
Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 2: Ouarzazate → Skoura → Amridil Kasbah → Rose Valley → Dades Valley
Breakfast, then explore Ouarzazate: Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Studios.
Drive through the palm groves of Skoura to Amridil Kasbah.
Continue through the Rose Valley (Kalaat M’Gouna), stopping at viewpoints.
Arrive in Dades Valley.
Overnight in Boumalne Dades.
Day 3: Dades Valley → Todra Gorges → Erfoud → Merzouga Desert
Depart after breakfast to Todra Gorge; walk through the canyon and enjoy its height and light.
Travel onwards through Erfoud (fossil town) toward Merzouga.
At Merzouga, swap vehicle for camel for a sunset ride into the dunes.
Dinner under the desert sky in a luxury camp.
Overnight in Merzouga Desert Camp.
Day 4: Merzouga Region Exploration
Sunrise in the dunes, then return by camel or 4×4.
Explore the region: visit nomadic villages, the village of Khamlia (for Gnawa music), palm groves, wild lake, and fossil areas.
Enjoy the desert atmosphere, local tea, and nature.
Overnight in a hotel or desert lodge in Merzouga.
Day 5: Merzouga → Rissani → Erfoud → Midelt → Ifrane → Fes
Early morning in the desert for sunrise. After breakfast, depart toward Rissani.
Visit the historic market in Rissani.
Continue to Erfoud to see fossil workshops.
Cross the Ziz Valley, stop in Midelt for lunch.
Drive through cedar forests near Azrou, see Barbary macaques.
Arrive in Fes by evening. Drop-off at your Riad or hotel.
End of tour.
