Itinerary
Day 1: Ouarzazate → Todra Gorges → Merzouga
  • Depart from Ouarzazate in the morning
  • Visit the impressive Todra Gorges
  • Continue to Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops
  • Arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert
  • Camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset
    Dinner and overnight stay in a luxury desert camp.

Day 2: Explore Merzouga
  • Visit nomads in their woven tents and learn about their way of life
  • Enjoy Gnaoua music and dance in Khamlia (Gnaoua village)
  • Visit Merzouga Lake, a seasonal wild lake
  • Explore Erg Chebbi dunes and a palm grove
    Return to Merzouga for overnight stay.

Day 3: Merzouga → Rissani → Draa Valley → Ait Benhaddou → Marrakech
  • Optional sunrise camel trek
  • Return to Merzouga by camel or 4x4
  • Visit Rissani, a historic town with a vibrant market
  • Drive through the Draa Valley, known for its palm groves and kasbahs
  • Explore the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou, a fortified village
  • Continue to Marrakech, arriving by evening
  • Drop-off at your accommodation in Marrakech.
