This private 3-day desert tour from Errachidia immerses you in the Sahara's magic. You’ll explore Merzouga and its dunes, meet nomads, experience the drumming & culture of Khamlia, stroll through palm groves, discover fossil and mineral sites, enjoy sunsets & sunrises over Erg Chebbi, and visit traditional souks and markets — all with nights in luxury desert camps.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Errachidia → Merzouga (≈ 2 hours drive)
Pick-up from your accommodation or Errachidia airport.
Drive south to the Sahara dunes at Merzouga.
Arrival in Merzouga.
Overnight in Merzouga desert camp.
Day 2: In & Around Merzouga
After breakfast, begin with an off-road visit to an old kohl (eyeliner) mine.
Meet nomads in their tents, share Berber tea, learn about their life.
Visit Khamlia village for Gnaoua music & dance performance.
Lunch locally.
In the afternoon, stroll through palm groves, visit the wild lake near Merzouga.
Camel ride into the dunes to watch sunset, then continue to the luxury desert camp.
Evening’s Berber drumming around the campfire under the stars.
Dinner & overnight in camp.
Day 3: Merzouga → Rissani → Erfoud → Errachidia (≈ 2 hours drive)
Sunrise (recommended). After breakfast, return by camel or 4×4.
Visit Rissani (capital of Tafilalet), especially its lively souk (on market days).
Then Erfoud to see the famous fossil workshops.
Scenic drive back towards Errachidia via panoramas of the Ziz Valley.
Drop-off at Errachidia (airport or your accommodation).
End of Tour.
