Tour Overview
Created for musicians, producers, and creative souls, this unique journey offers a deep musical and cultural immersion into southern Morocco.
From the cinematic city of Ouarzazate to the golden dunes of M’Hamid El Ghizlane, participants explore the roots of desert blues, meet inspiring local artists, and experience the living traditions of Amazigh and Saharan music.
The tour includes a visit to Sahara Records Studio, creative exchange with the international desert blues band Tarwa N-Tiniri, and an intimate desert meeting with the Saharan artist Brahim Laghfiri, known for his powerful voice and poetic songs inspired by the desert.

Itinerary
Day 1: Ouarzazate – Musical Welcome & Studio Experience
Departure from your riad in Ouarzazate around 11:00 AM
Arrival at Sahara Records Studio for a guided visit
Meet the artists of Tarwa N-Tiniri (if not on tour) and discover their creative space
Explore the studio school and enjoy a free jam session with local musicians
Dinner and overnight stay in Ouarzazate
Optional evening campfire jam with Amazigh and Saharan instruments — a warm musical introduction to the desert spirit
Day 2: Ouarzazate → Agdz → Zagora → M’Hamid El Ghizlane – Into the Desert Rhythms
Depart from Ouarzazate after breakfast
Stop at Agdz, gateway to the Draa Valley, for scenic views and coffee
Continue through Zagora, passing palm groves and ancient kasbahs
Arrival in M’Hamid El Ghizlane, the last village before the Sahara
Meet Brahim Laghfiri, a Saharan music artist blending ancestral desert sounds with modern desert blues
Cultural exchange and sunset jam session around the fire with Brahim and local musicians
Dinner and overnight in a luxury desert camp under a sky full of stars
Day 3: M’Hamid → Tamegroute → Ouarzazate – Return with Inspiration
Optional sunrise meditation or solo music reflection in the dunes
Visit Tamegroute, known for its pottery and ancient Quranic library
Journey back through the Draa Valley, stopping for photos and short village visits
Late afternoon arrival in Ouarzazate
