Drive over the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka, visit the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, travel along the lush Draa Valley to reach the Zagora Desert. Overnight under a starlit sky in a luxury desert camp, ride a camel at sunrise, and return through ancient palm groves, kasbahs, and mountainous vistas for a perfect condensed Saharan experience

Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Zagora Desert
  • Morning pick-up from your hotel/riad in Marrakech.
  • Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with panoramic stops along the winding route.
  • Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, famous from many films and TV series.
  • Lunch in or near Ouarzazate.
  • Continue south through the Anti-Atlas and Draa Valley, seeing Agdez and the sunset in Zagora.
  • Arrive at the desert camp. Enjoy a camel ride into the dunes around sunset. Dinner under the stars and music around the campfire.
    Overnight in luxury desert camp.

Day 2: Zagora Desert → Return to Marrakech
  • Wake early for sunrise over the dunes and have breakfast.
  • Optionally ride camel again or take 4×4 back to the main road.
  • Head toward Ouarzazate, visit Taourirt Kasbah and, if time allows, the movie studios.
  • Drive back over the High Atlas through Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
  • Drop off in Marrakech late afternoon or evening.

    End of tour.
